Primitive Camping
Vance and I are going to be spending the weekend camping at Pace Bend. We got a tent, a lantern, propane cooker, everything we need. We planned this like 2 weeks ago as our "baby-moon" so that we could do at least 1 fun summer activity this year. I remember right after picking the date the first words out our mouths were "Great, hope it doesn't rain!" Yesterday looked extremely promising, of course. Today I wake up to the tapping of rain on our windows. It looks so shitty outside, but according to the forecast it will get better for a couple of hours. And tomorrow will be better. We're still going. You don't just spend all this money on camping stuff and then not go. We're just probably going to spend tonight's portion of the trip huddled up in our tent. So here's to a potentially fun camping trip.
EDIT So Vance gets home at about 2:30 and we decide to hold off on camping tonight and just spend all of tomorrow out there. The very threat of rain was too great for us apparently. It's is now 8:45 and it hasn't rained ONCE. /EDIT

Updates and what-not
We are finally moved in. Okay, so we've been moved in for about a week now, but it's finally starting to feel like home. Everything that we use has been unpacked, but due to issues with space, we are having problems with dvds and books. We had to toss the old giant bookcase because we just don't have the same amount of space. This new place is a lot smaller, but still so adorable. As I have said, it's perfect for our family.
It's getting closer! I am 30 wks 2 days today and I feel like I am going to explode. I have less than 10 weeks before he is due and there is still so much stuff left to do, to buy, etc. The baby's nursery is currently where all the boxes of crap we can't unpack is stored. We finally got his crib, which is still in the box. Vance's mom was extremely generous. She also got us the bedding and other nursery items. My dad said he wanted to get us the dresser and changing table combo. I am getting very anxious to have everything ready. I would prefer to have all the essentials by the end of this month. I want to spend August just relaxing and waiting for him to get here. I don't think I am going to be that lucky. With all of the unpacking that still needs to get done, and our budget issues... Also, my baby shower is August 18. I am not terribly excited about having to travel at that time. I will be 36 weeks.
I took some belly pictures today and once I find the cable needed to upload the pictures, I will post them on the Flickr account. Anyway, I am going to lay down and drink a soda.
