Primitive Camping
Vance and I are going to be spending the weekend camping at Pace Bend. We got a tent, a lantern, propane cooker, everything we need. We planned this like 2 weeks ago as our "baby-moon" so that we could do at least 1 fun summer activity this year. I remember right after picking the date the first words out our mouths were "Great, hope it doesn't rain!" Yesterday looked extremely promising, of course. Today I wake up to the tapping of rain on our windows. It looks so shitty outside, but according to the forecast it will get better for a couple of hours. And tomorrow will be better. We're still going. You don't just spend all this money on camping stuff and then not go. We're just probably going to spend tonight's portion of the trip huddled up in our tent. So here's to a potentially fun camping trip.
EDIT So Vance gets home at about 2:30 and we decide to hold off on camping tonight and just spend all of tomorrow out there. The very threat of rain was too great for us apparently. It's is now 8:45 and it hasn't rained ONCE. /EDIT
