I just got done watching the first episode of America's Next Top Model cycle 10.
I feel like I may have lost some intellect in the process. Seriously, this season the stupid is almost overwhelming. I thought it would be impossible to outdo last season's environmentalism theme, but they have managed to do it with the cast alone.
Let's face it, any girl who goes on the show thinking they have a shot of a modeling career even if they win is shamefully stupid. 10 seasons and the most any girl has gotten out of it is a chance to appear on future seasons, or maybe on Tyra's talk show. Oh, unless you're Adrienne Curry, the girl who Tyra disassociates herself from, then you get to be in Playboy and have your won reality show.
Shows like this cause me to weep for young girls and the human race. I don't know why I bother watching when it just frustrates the hell out of me. I want so badly to say that I won't watch anymore episodes, but you see how that's worked out before. Shame. SHAME.
