ME, ME, ME, ME.

My name is Janette Z. and I am 22 years old. I live in Austin, Tx with my husband Vance, our baby boy Deven, and possibly a couple of cats. I don't work, and by "work" I mean leave the house to cater to any type of business with customers to make money. What I do, as you should know by now, involves a lot of work. I raise a human being, keep a home clean, and prepare meals. It's actually quite exhausting. Vance and I have been together for over 2 years and we were married on March 3, 2007. On Sept 16 of that year in the wee hours of the morning we had our son, Deven Everitt. He is every cliché sappy-mom things you can possibly imagine, including but not limited to, the light of my life, the reason I breath, and everything to me. He's cute as can be, and that's mostly because he looks just like his momma. My husband Vance isn't too bad either. He's awesome. He's like me, but with such passion and fire and incredible intelligence. We can talk for hours about anything and he will actually understand. I have never ever had that in a partner. Over the next year I am hoping to get into college and maybe work part-time, you know, just to add a new topic to the blog. I have a hard time piecing together how I see myself. I think I am smart, intuitive, and full of insight. Sometimes I do and say things that are oh so stupid.  I am articulate. I am most certainly stubborn, and sometimes selfish but I am full of love to give. I am painfully shy, but I like people. I just take a long time to get comfortable enough to talk.

I really love music, just like the vast majority of this generation. My favorite bands are Rush, Opeth, Lacuna Coil,  Lamb of God, Tool, Ween, Primus, David Bowie, Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, Bjork, the list goes on for days and it can get pretty boring. I like to read when I have the chance, especially stuff by Kurt Vonnegut. I'm passionate about words and writing. I like to think about politics, philosophies, meditation, but I think metaphysics are a bit heavy for my fragile heart. My personal hero is my oldest brother, because he is an awesome influence, a real role model, which is something we lack these days. Kids don't have people in their direct circle to look up to, so they are forced to find an outside influence like Paris Hilton or Barry Bonds. NO WONDER WE'RE FUCKED. My other heroes are Geddy Lee and Penn Jillette. Geddy Lee can play a mean bass guitar, and Penn Jillette is a guy with some strong and brilliant opinions and he can juggle. I'm a libertarian and for the time being I am agnostic, like it's really any of your business who or what I pray to.
Some things I dislike include tomatoes, allergies, hippies, environmentalists, lactivists, The View, Anderson Cooper, diet soda, the smell of garlic, molasses, mean people (because they suck), humid weather, imdb.com message boards, Al fucking Gore, Nancy Grace.
In case I forgot to mention it, I am a Taurus on the cusp of a Gemini, I really want to travel but I am afraid to fly, I am afraid of museums, statues, and dentists, I'm 5'1" and 90 lbs. I want to lick the side of Zachary Quinto's face.
