Martin Luther King had a dream, and then he died

This was actually written yesterday, on Martin Luther King day.
Happy MLK day? I guess it's an exciting day if you work for the state or go to school, or if you're Barack Obama, but if you're just a bored housewife there ain't much to celebrate.
I like to be romantic and think about what Martin Luther King would think of todays America and our diversity. I would think he would be extremely proud because his dream has for the most part come true. And then, here comes the romanticism, he would look down upon affirmative action and this emerging ideology that white people are the only racists and he would demand true equality and responsibility on the part of all races and no more special treatment of anyone. And then I snap out of it and realize he would be just as nit-picky and loud as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. What? I'm just being honest.
I've been feeling under the weather since Saturday. I've been suffering from this horrible nausea/stomach pain like a hunger pang only worse. You know how you feel when you haven't eaten in a while. It's like a sharp, gnawing sensation. I eat thinking that'll fix it, but then I feel like I'm going to puke. I've been taking Phenergen for it and it hasn't done much other than make me drowsy and cranky. I've been on auto-pilot since`Saturday; barely conscious. Thankfully Vance's mom was here to help with Deven. I still feel like I ruined their weekend! We could have had so much fun had I been feeling better. Oh well.
Well, one of the 2 computers is back up. Vance re-built his computer and is going to use the old parts for mine. So yay, thats means my computer will be made of recycled, throw-away materials. Thanks. Hopefully he'll get around to that soon. Using this laptop is driving me crazy.
