Speedwriter Cavalier(?) Web Page
In the mid 1950s, Jack Tramiel founded Commodore as a typewriter repair shop.
Later, Commodore began importing and assembling their own brand of typewriters, usually made by Czech company "Consul".
This went well enough for Commodore to expand their presence into Europe.
The original make and model of this particular typewriter is unknown. Even its retail model is only a best guess. It appears to closely
resemble another typewriter Commodore branded called the Speedwriter Cavalier, but if that name applies to this one
is anyone's guess.
