I haven't been here in a while and the last time I was here it was just to complain. Sorry. So, here's an update for the tiny masses.
Opeth/Lamb Of God was awesome. Great metal show. Opeth's set was sort of short. Because they were a supporting act they only had a certain amount of time, so they could only fit four songs. And four songs for Opeth could be upwards of 30 minutes. But they still kicked serious ass. And they opened with The Drapery Falls! Yes, I am a dork.
Last night I went over to the Vance's house and we ate that blasted cheesecake that we waited so long for. The cheesecake itself took 48 hours to set and then we made strawberry syrup for the topping and that took such a long time. But it was worth the wait.
Other than that, I really have nothing else to update you on. I still am in desperate need of a job, I'm still studying to get my equivalency, and still a lazy bum. I don't know if I am capable of being anything else. Anyway, I will update you again soon on the happenings.
Oh yeah, System of a Down is Aug 12!
