off, I don't want anyone to feel bad because they did not see through
the silly science of snow sooner. We all lead busy lives, and
we have been innundated with so much snow myth for so long that few of
us stop to think about it. That's why organizations like ours
are so important. We have made it our mission to SPREAD THE
TRUTH about snow.
Snow is

Like all matter, water can exist in three different states: gas, liquid, and solid. We are all familiar with water in its liquid form at room temperature, its gas state when it's boiled, and, thanks to the technology of refrigeration, we have been introduced in recent decades to water in its solid form: ice cubes.
SO WHAT IS SNOW?
If we were to be naive enough to believe the myth, then snow is water in a MYTHICAL FOURTH STATE!!!!!!!! But we know such a state does not exist. And noone claims that any other kind of matter exists in this state of "snow" -- just water.

Probably the most incredible
claim about snow is the whole "snow-man" thing. If
snow is water (which as we know is very heavy), and this water has been rendered
into a semi-solid state like ice-cream, then why doesn't it droop and
slouch when one tries to pile three scoops on top of each other?
According to their so-called photographic evidence, doesn't
it behave more like a very light substance that can be easily formed
into piles.

Another improbable "fact" about snow is that it is formed when water vapor freezes. Now,
any third grade hard-boiled-egg-cooker can tell you that water must be
very very hot to become water vapor -- BOILING in fact.
And yet they say, just when its in this state, it FREEZES into
snow.
Let's face it, their mythology is VERY extravagent and DETAILED, but not very well thought out.
