The first attempt at RenFest occurred the weekend of October the 19th. Although Friday evening was crisp and pleasant, Saturday morning brought stormclouds and pouring rain. My companions chose to risk a small stay and go home. I chose to just go home and come back another weekend.

Some other campers joined us. Who knows how many packed it up and left, though.
