(606)/586-7753 Part 1 - Starting Out - Ok, now since you finally have the best Color Graphics BBS Prgm in your posse- ssion, you are ready to begin! First off just load"boot",8,1 anand run it!! From there you will see the nice little color screen say the options 1 Load BBS 2 Load Setup You will slectelect 2 since you are just beginning! It will then load the setup file! Please note!!: DO NOT USE FASTELOAD WITh H THE SETUP FILE!! When you get the menu of options in the setup prgm, you will first select 1 to create your system disk, by this time you must have a BBLANK DISK in drive 8!! Then The from there you answer all the questions til' it comes to the end! You will then select 2 for create files!! This will alow low you to make your Welcome Menus, etc..!! Create all these files on the same disk you created your system disk on!! After that go down and select 3 To create your SUBOP for your Art Gallery... Since you have no users yet, just select it for id# 1 amdnd username Sysop til you get users ad then yo u can change it!! Now go down and select 4 then 5 to create the credit file for block credits and new msg file for the read new message option!! 6 just reads these docs!! Part 2 - Ready to Start BBS! - Ok, since you now have copied those seq files thart you were told on the setup file to your system disk, you are ready to copy the files with a "" in front to one of your drive!! Any drive! but make sure they are all on the same drive! These files are scbbs dow.sect games If you are running the BBS with an IEEE Drive (ie. SFD1-001,8080,etc) I would put em on one of those due to the fact that they will load in these files at greate speed! Now you are all set, just load the boot and now select 1 for load BBS! It will then load up the BBS & ML Files when then you will put in your filedisk and answer the questions at the beginning of the prgm! After that hit f1 and set the time and date then select 1 gfor local start and sign on as new so you can put an id# in for you! After that and you log-off etc... go back to that sysop menu and select 3 and cvalidate that id#1!! If you are running the BBS with a 1650, make sure you change your modem for t to d!! Note:The command "*" sat the main menu is REMOTE SYSOP Commands and only work for SYSOP LEVELED Users with an acs lvl of 9!! Part 3 - The UP/DOW Section - The iup/download section hasuses PUNTER Protocol nand has MULTI-TRANSFER for users you wish yto use it! To allow a user to use MULTI-TRANSFER there is option when you are validating users called MULTI ACS!! If it says you put 1 then it will allow then m to use the MULTI-TRANSFER Function! If you don't wish them to use it just put any other number! than 1""111!!! All files with a "" in front are only seen by users with acs levels of 8 or 9!! All files on drive 8 to be d/loaded must have a "/" in front for ex... "/pac man" and all files uploaded to drive 8 will auto-maticalluy have the slash in front!! On the credit exempt which you answer each time you load the bbs up!! Lets say you put 5 that will mean users with ACCESS 5 and up will not have to go by the credit system whiles users with acs 4 and below will be on the credit system! Part 4 - The Game Room - The gameroom currently on has 2 games and an ART GALLERY!! But I am working on more!! 1 Russioan Roulette has been a populatr online game which allows users to bet as much moenney as they want (or have) on whether or not the gun will go off or not, if the gun doesn't go off they will win the amount they bet, but if it does go off they will loose the amount they bet! 2 JackSlot Machine is exactly as it says! You putay $5 a game and can win $100 if you get 3 of the same kind! 3 Art Gallery will alowwill allow users to upload (add) their own COLOR ART to the art gallery with the command a!! Theis section is COLOR Graphics ONLY!!
